Materials Analyst
Job Summary
Overview
The Materials Analyst is responsible for controlling material flow to ensure 100% ontime delivery to customers zero material shortages and achievement of financial and inventory targets. The role works crossfunctionally to support uninterrupted production and logistics excellence.
Key Tasks
- Control and monitor material movement to prevent shortages and production stoppages.
- Coordinate engineering changes with customers planners engineering warehouse and production teams.
- Ensure 100% stock accuracy through cycle counts audits and discrepancy resolution.
- Track and resolve atrisk materials including escalation management for stop shipments.
- Schedule materials according to customer demand while controlling inventory levels and monthend targets.
- Maintain zero loader errors supplier discrepancies and booking issues.
- Monitor supplier performance attend reviews with underperforming suppliers and ensure zero arrears.
- Control scrap levels and manage supplier returns related to quality claims.
- Ensure compliance with logistics governance authorization processes and cost controls.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Material Planner in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of material planning inventory control and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Strong communication problemsolving and crossfunctional collaboration skills.
