Job Summary
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for ensuring that manufactured parts meet all quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in precision manufacturing environments and a strong understanding of inspection processes measurement tools and blueprint reading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections on machined parts
- Read and interpret blueprints GD&T and technical drawings
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers gauges and height gauges
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify and report non-conforming materials and assist with corrective actions
- Conduct first article inspections as needed
- Work closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T
- Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers micrometers etc.)
- Familiarity with inspection documentation and reporting
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in CNC machining or precision manufacturing
- CMM experience (operation or programming is a plus)
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
- Manual dexterity for handling small parts and tools
