Job Summary

The Public Affairs team at Flix Mexico drives institutional positioning regulatory strategy and strategic partnerships to enable sustainable expansion in a complex and highly regulated environment. This role plays a critical function in connecting government engagement with business ecosystem alliances ensuring both regulatory access and strategic positioning across key markets.
About the Role
- Lead and execute Flixs Public Affairs strategy in Mexico aligning institutional engagement with business priorities.
- Develop and manage relationships with federal state and municipal authorities to support expansion and regulatory positioning.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with strategic ecosystem players.
- Drive policy advocacy efforts and participate in regulatory processes impacting the mobility and infrastructure sector.
- Identify and activate strategic opportunities that enhance market access positioning and partnerships.
- Monitor political and regulatory developments proactively managing risks and defining mitigation strategies.
About You
- Bachelors degree required (Law Public Policy International Relations Economics or related field); Masters degree is a plus
- 4 years of experience in Public Affairs Government Relations or policy advocacy preferably in regulated industries (transport infrastructure energy)
- Strong understanding of Mexicos regulatory and political landscape with proven experience engaging public sector stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience working with business chambers or industry associations
- Exceptional stakeholder management negotiation and influencing skills at senior levels
- Strong strategic thinking judgment and ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
