A 27J school is seeking aPrincipal who will direct and managethe instructional programs andeducational process. This is a full time or 1.0 FTE positionwith benefits.

Qualifications:

Masters Degree minimum; other advanced graduate work preferred.
Colorado Principal License or Administrator License.
At least three years of administrative experience as a school principal or assistant principal required.
At least three years teaching experience at the elementary level required.
Experience and knowledge of curriculum for elementary schools with a knowledge of state standards required.

Required Qualifications:

A valid Colorado Department of Education Principal license.
The ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.
The ability to facilitate and coach a high-functioning team.
The ability to define roles and share responsibility to move the school vision forward.
The ability to seek out and engage the perspective of others.
The emotional intelligence to understand others needs and provide support.
The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics curriculum and so on).
A belief in empowering all children as owners of their learning.
