Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Saw Operators for a manufacturing warehouse located in White!
Qualifications for Saw Operators:
After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of metal properties operational sequences and hand power tools.
Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Assignment Duties for Saw Operators:
Performs all set up and tear down of the related equipment.
Calculates and set machine controls to positions tools speed and feed.
Inserts control instructions into machine control units to start operation.
Mounts and secure tools and attachments using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Selects and bolts holding clamp die block and guide clamp to machine.
Lifts work pieces to machines manually or with hoists or cranes.
Measures and inspects parts using machine ship measuring tools per supplied customer drawings.
Modifies operating programs to account for problems during operations and save modified programs.
Resolves machine malfunctions and discusses with supervisor or programmer.
Meets production goals in relation to machine effectiveness and scrap output.
Maintains the machine and work area.
Measures and checks work dimensionally at different times while monitoring progress.
Measures and checks the product to ensure that is satisfies quality requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Shift Details: Monday-Friday 5:00AM-3:30PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
