Responsibilities:
Conducts mechanical and visual tests on finished parts and parts in process and compares parts to specified drawings.
Records in the established business system(s) the status of the inspection of all assigned parts.
Study and interpret drawings shop manuals and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts.
Ensure product quality workmanship and conformance to all applicable processes requirements and regulatory standards in accordance with the established Quality System.
Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic skills required to operate technical machinery. Must be able to use a caliper and other hand tools.
Must have command of blueprint reading including an understanding of drawings.
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Computer proficient including Microsoft office suite.
Be able to work with minimal supervision.
Years Experience Reqd.:
3 year of experience in a quality-focused manufacturing or service environment is required.
