What youll do
The Audit Senior Specialist (Supplier Audits) will be expected to support building the new supplier compliance audit function and then take ownership of managing all supplier audits Globally.
Key responsibilities will be:
- Actively driving the setup of the new supplier compliance audit function by adopting the operating procedures of the established partner compliance audit teams.
- Actively building the necessary processes templates and professional network within SAP to establish the new supplier compliance audit function.
- Managing and overseeing supplier compliance audits performed by independent audit firms globally: Support the nomination of suppliers for audit notifying internal stakeholders and the supplier of the audit kick off the audit process support risk based audit sampling address any questions or concerns from the supplier constantly oversee the progress of the audit and address delays and roadblocks during the audit.
- Serving as liaison between SAP internal stakeholders from the business and the audit firms
- Liaising and working closely with the SAP field compliance team and other OEC teams as needed
- Actively initiates and supports identification of supplier to be audited based on risk assessment
- Able to independently drive audits
- Resolves issues with high complexity and cross-border
As a result of audit findings and recommendations you may work on company policies and procedural change and liaise with multiple areas to align compliance position reports to the Head of Partner Ecosystem & Audit and enjoys high exposure within the business.
What you bring
- Bachelors degree from business or law school or equivalent work experience
- Big 4 audit firm experience is preferable
- Hands-on with attention to detail and written documentation
- Willingness to proactively communicate with stakeholders
- Ability to do in-depth research and to interpret written guidelines and documents
- 8 years in a relevant function in the internal control system environment Legal Finance Audit Compliance or Procurement Organization.
Meet the team
The Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) is a part of the Office of the CEO Board area and reports to both SAP SEs Global CEO and the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board. Our mission is to advance SAPs business goals by promoting a culture of integrity and by mitigating a defined set of legal risks. Our focus includes among others compliance with the FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) UK Bribery Act and other global anti-corruption and bribery laws.
The Third Party Compliance Team as part of the OEC is responsible for managing audits and compliance assessments of SAPs business partners. The team has been tasked to build a new supplier compliance audit function. SAP will execute audit clauses in the agreement with our suppliers and engage an independent audit firm (for example PwC Control Risks etc) to perform the audit field work. The Audit Team will work closely with the independent audit firms and the field compliance officers to ensure the audit is conducted as planned the report is generated and next steps are identified and executed.
