Whats the role
Youll play a key role in shaping how Westpac supports and responds to the needs of Indigenous customers. Working closely with the Executive Manager youll help develop and embed an Indigenous customer value proposition across our customer facing teams. This is a 12month opportunity with flexible working options where youll turn insights into meaningful action and guide how we approach emerging topics affecting Indigenous peoples- so your work genuinely makes a difference.
This role is open Australia wide with a requirement to spend two days each week in your nearest Westpac office.This role is a Parental Leave Cover Role for a 12 month period.
What do I need
Youll bring a mix of strategic thinking cultural understanding and the ability to collaborate widely.
- Experience in strategy customer insights product development or engagement with the ability to translate complex or emerging issues into clear practical and actionable strategies.
- Confident collaborator with strong stakeholder engagement skills able to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups across the enterprise to progress agreed strategy and outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience creating clear strategy papers and recommendations and confidently presenting to senior leaders.
- Understanding of Indigenous customer needs community perspectives and market trends with the ability to apply guidance appropriately and respectfully in strategy development (highly desirable).
