Location: San Diego CA - Onsite

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design build and optimize scalable data solutions. This role will focus on modern data platforms data warehousing and ETL processes supporting enterprise-level analytics and reporting initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of data architecture and hands-on data engineering experience with expertise in cloud data platforms and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data architecture and data warehouse solutions
Develop and optimize data models (star schema dimensional modeling)
Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Informatica or Matillion
Work with Snowflake and Oracle to manage and optimize data storage and performance
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define data requirements
Ensure data quality governance and consistency across systems
Support reporting and analytics initiatives using tools like Tableau or Power BI
Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability

Required Qualifications

7 years of experience in data architecture data engineering or data warehousing
Strong experience with Snowflake and/or Oracle
Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica Matillion or similar
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques
Experience supporting BI/reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
Ability to design scalable and high-performance data solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
Experience working in enterprise-level data environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
