Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format) Landscape Designer/Architect (Batavia OH)
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements observe site conditions and document relevant details.
- Evaluate surveys grade changes access points easements and other physical constraints affecting design.
- Develop landscape concepts layout plans planting designs and hardscape solutions for residential and commercial spaces.
- Prepare design presentations renderings and technical plan sets using appropriate design and drafting software.
- Incorporate practical considerations such as drainage grading code requirements and site functionality into designs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align design intent with estimating scheduling and construction needs.
- Prepare organized and accurate design documents to support project planning and facilitate handoff to production.
- Participate in design discussions and revisions to improve project clarity constructability and quality.
- Meet with clients to understand their design goals priorities and overall vision for the space.
- Utilize strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Apply knowledge of grading drainage hardscape features plant layouts and outdoor living design principles.
- Use design and drafting software such as AutoCAD SketchUp Land F/X Rhino or similar platforms.
- Demonstrate strong communication collaboration and creative problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications: Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field prior landscape design/build experience landscape architecture licensure (a plus).
