Job Summary

We act for the roleThe Officer - Resilience is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of targeted initiatives aimed at enhancing the resilience of individuals households and communities. The role involves assisting in the implementation of evidence-based resources training and community activities to build capacity to anticipate respond to and recover from disasters and crises. The Officer - Resilience will also support efforts to increase sector knowledge and understanding of disaster impacts preparedness and the psychosocial needs of affected in programs that work with children and young people is highly you will bringSound knowledge and understanding of disaster resilience and community development to assist in developing and delivering training workshops and and communication skills with the ability to support stakeholder and evaluation skills with the ability to assist in using data to inform to work under general direction from senior employees within clear objectives and budget constraints and work with and support teams and people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working environmentSound disaster resilience emergency management or community development knowledge gained through experience training or educationExperience in supporting the development and delivery of training and in advocacy and influencing sector that act for you while you act for humanityFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your salary you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
