The Reliability Engineer (Digital Core) acts as the single-point focal person and coordinator for all pre-work required for Digital Core Transformation. The role ensures that high-quality structured and validated maintenance data is prepared prior to CMMS deployment. The position is reliability-engineering focused emphasizing maintenance strategy asset criticality and data integrity while contributing to CMMS readiness by delivering compliant datasets (without performing CMMS configuration or administration).

Key Responsibilities

The role directly contributes to several stages of the CMMS Maintenance Build specifically:

  • Review / Assign Maintenance Strategies that support safe optimized cost and production aligned with function criticality.

  • Demonstrated understanding of RCM / FMECA type processes

  • Develop asset registers hierarchies.

  • Perform criticality assessments and facilitate workshops for different reliability studies.

  • Review assign and validate maintenance strategies aligned with asset criticality

  • Conduct spares analysis build or validate PMs job plans task lists and BOMs.

  • Facilitate maintenance work instructions if required.

  • Prepare CMMS load templates and structured datasets.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data completeness.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards as well as applicable Chevron standards instructions and guidelines.

  • Leverage historical operation reliability and maintenance data for use in maintenance builds.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering (B.E./.) from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of Reliability Engineering / Maintenance Build experience in an LNG or complex processing facility

  • Strong understanding of asset management frameworks maintenance strategy development and criticality analysis.

  • High proficiency in Excel and structured data handling for load sheet preparation.

  • Familiarity with Equipment criticality assignment asset strategies master data.

  • Ability to interpret P&IDs vendor packages datasheets SPIRs and engineering documents.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in JDE/Maximo and SAP/ S/4HANA.

  • Ability to validate and update maintainable equipment registers.

  • Familiarity with High Consequence and Integrity Critical asset classification.

  • Experience in migration from JDE/Maximo/SAP to S4HANA.

  • Strong project coordination skills.

  • Understanding of data governance and technical object standards.

  • Ability to manage timelines dependencies and deliverables across functions.

  • Awareness of regulatory frameworks (ISO OSHA API).

  • Understanding of Process Safety and its application in the oil & gas or chemical processing industry will be highly regarded . Demonstrated exposure in upstream/downstream maintenance/reliability
