Job Summary
Our client a manufacturing company specializing in the build and repair of AC/DC motors and generators is seeking a skilled Motor Repair Technician with hands-on experience in teardown inspection and assembly of industrial electric motors.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform teardown and assembly of AC/DC motors and generators
- Work on major motor brands including WEG Toshiba GE NOV Kato Leroy-Somer and Caterpillar
- Inspect and measure components using precision tools (micrometers calipers etc.)
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete detailed inspection and assembly reports
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AC/DC motor repair (teardown and assembly)
- Experience working with industrial motor brands (WEG Toshiba GE NOV Kato Leroy-Somer Caterpillar preferred)
- Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts using micrometers and other tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to document work clearly and accurately

- Experience in a manufacturing or repair shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
