Job Summary
The Role
As aWet Works & Services - Chemical Plant Operator youll play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and quality of our plant operations. Working Monday to Friday 6:45am-3:15pm youll be responsible for conducting chemical and water system checks supporting maintenance activities and ensuring equipment and processes run safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete regular chemical checks (e.g. coolant concentration acid pH levels etc.)
- Monitor and restock chemicals consumables and other supplies as needed
- Carry out general housekeeping duties including cleaning and maintenance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with wet works systems and relating manufacturing processes
- Assist the maintenance team with troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks
- Oversee water management activities ensuring systems operate efficiently and meet quality requirements
About You
- Previous experience in chemical handling and wet works services
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Strong safety focus with the ability to follow procedures precisely
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Mechanical Trade Certificate - highly desirable
