Are you a hands-on technical professional with a passion for delivering seamless audio-visual experiences We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual and Technology Officer to support the delivery of high-quality events and daily operations across our Major Venues and Community Centres.
This is an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes of major sporting events expos conferences and functions ensuring all technical and production requirements are delivered to a high standard.
About the role
The Audio Visual and Technology Officer plays a key role in the day-to-day management maintenance and delivery of audio-visual (AV) equipment IT systems and technical services across our venues.
This is a highly hands-on role involving the setup operation and pack down of AV systems as well as providing technical support and working closely with the Operations Team to deliver a wide range of events. You will also contribute to maintaining reliable IT and AV infrastructure supporting continuous improvement and ensuring a seamless experience for clients and stakeholders.

You are a proactive and technically skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced event-driven environment. You enjoy being hands-on and take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Experience in audio-visual operations and IT systems ideally within events venues or similar environments
- Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment systems and ICT infrastructure
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve under pressure
- Experience supporting events and working with a range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
