Reporting to the Senior Product Owner the Initiative Specialist works within the Commercial & Personal Injury Tribe (Protect Me & My Business) to support the delivery of agreed business Missions and Key Results (MKRs).

The purpose of this role is to work within the assigned Tribe Squad and collaborate with key stakeholders from the business to deliver outstanding product &/or claims management initiatives across the assigned C&PI Department.

The objective of the role is to support the squad and business to deliver initiatives which result in cost effective claims management regulatory compliance and create best in class customer experiences as defined in the MKRs.

What youll do:

  • Support the Product Owner Delivery Lead and/or Initiative Leads by actively engaging with key stakeholders to capture and understand pain points initiative requirements and support the design and delivery of aligned solutions
  • Demonstrate a customer obsession by proactively understanding of our customers needs and current pain points to always improve our claims customer experience
  • Supporting adherence to momentum Guardrails / project requirements including legislative compliance in all deliveries
  • Proactively assist with delivering solutions to our systems and processes within the business minimising any risks and maximising benefits
  • Utilise momentum model to manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned initiatives including scheduling flight planning and escalating blockers and issues for resolution.

What youll bring:

  • Minimum three (3) years appropriate industry experience in general insurance (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Commercial & Personal Injury Insurance products claims and associated regulatory environment Demonstrated knowledge of Risk standards frameworks and Momentum Guardrails and how to apply these
  • Experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives with a customer focus
  • Knowledge of the agile methodology and iterative development lifecycle (Jira platform).
