Job Summary
Primary Purpose Of Position
Key Responsibilities: Program & Activity Support Assist with the planning preparation and execution of summer camp activities. Assist with facilitating orientation for summer camp counselors and other summer staff Provide general classroom workshop and program support to instructors and camp facilitators. Camper Supervision & Safety Monitor campers to ensure a safe welcoming and respectful environment. Support the implementation of Protection of Minors standards and university safety protocols. Assist with camper transitions between activities breakrooms dining halls and designated pick-up/drop-off areas. Report any incidents concerns or behavioral issues to the Program Director immediately. Administrative & Operational Tasks Support daily attendance tracking check-in/check-out procedures and general recordkeeping. Provide customer service to parents/guardians visitors and campus partners as needed. Assist with the Protection of Minors Training process and help ensure program compliance with university policies.
Preferred Years Experience Skills Training Education
Minimum: H.S. Diploma Preferred: CPR /First Aid certification (or willingness to complete training). Must be at least 18 years old. Experience working with youth (camps tutoring mentoring after-school programs). Ability to work the full duration of the camp schedule. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining a safe and positive environment for minors.
