Position Summary
RION Equipment is seeking a Product Support Sales Representative to drive revenue growth within an assigned territory. This role focuses on developing new customer relationships while expanding business with existing accounts through the sale of parts maintenance programs repair services and rental solutions.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working in the field solving customer challenges and creating long-term partnerships that drive mutual success.
What Youll Do
Develop and manage customer relationships within an assigned territory
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting networking and cold calling
Promote and sell parts service maintenance programs and rental solutions
Conduct equipment inspections to identify maintenance repair and replacement opportunities
Prepare and present quotes proposals and customer solutions
Educate customers on equipment performance operating costs ROI financing options and warranty programs
Negotiate and close service agreements rental contracts and support solutions
Collaborate with Parts Service Rental and Operations teams to ensure exceptional customer support
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions opportunities and sales activities within the CRM system
Participate in trade shows customer events and industry networking opportunities
Stay current on product offerings service capabilities technology advancements and market trends
Provide ongoing post-sale support and serve as a trusted advisor to customers
What Were Looking For
Proven sales experience in equipment industrial construction agricultural trucking manufacturing or related industries preferred
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Ability to identify customer needs and recommend value-driven solutions
Self-motivated with strong time management and territory management skills
Comfortable prospecting and developing new business opportunities
Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment solutions preferred
Experience using CRM software and sales tracking tools
Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
