What Youll Do
This position will be responsible for the overall coordination implementation status reporting and escalation of maintenance priority and scheduled work activities. This position will interface with support groups customers and all resources critical to completing maintenance activities for Production Projects BOP Security and Emergency services to address equipment/system upgrades and breakdowns.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications company or government restrictions required completion date and construction feasibility.
- Analyzes sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- Interfaces with Senior Leadership as necessary with an end goal of increasing operational availability of production assets systems and facilities.
- Assists in the development of priorities based on guidance from System Health Production Projects and other plant managers.
- Coordinates and provides feedback to various engineering contacts for review of design criteria layout and detail drawings such as Engineering Instructions and Change Requests.
- Routinely reports upon maintenance planning and execution barriers encountered and will be responsible for coordinating and managing resolutions to overcome those barriers.
- Provides leadership for the field coordination and management of issues to ensure completion of maintenance work execution which includes projects.
- Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment installation labor materials preparation and other related costs.
- Verifies project and equipment installation progress to track conformance with established drawings specifications and schedules.
- Coordinates maintenance feedback to assist facilities engineers in planning and design.
- Completes special projects as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- OR Masters degree: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
- OR PhD: Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
- Fifteen (15) or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline is preferred.
- Work experience with DOE and/or NNSA Orders and practices is preferred.
- A background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
