Following its establishment in 2012 Plzeň has grown into our fastestgrowing Engineering Development Center in Europe. The center focuses on the design and development of Lear seating products including complex seating mechanisms and structures foams coatings plastics and trim components. Our vision is not only to support European business units but to serve as a leading Design & Development Center delivering projects for all major European OEMs from concept through launch.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the Validation Manager and the RMDV (Requirement Management and Design Verification) team throughout the full seating validation phase for complete seating systems including componentlevel validation.
- Prepare and submit RMDV documentation in alignment with internal and customer expectations.
- Create and maintain key engineering metrics in cooperation with the Engineering Director and Robustness team to ensure successful program execution and timely escalation when required.
- Work closely with Engineering Managers to maintain customer openissues management status reports.
- Ensure all RMDV gateways are managed from Design through to Job#1.
- Support project teams with testing requirements validation database submissions and openissues metrics management.
- Participate in planning and execution of customer validation requirements working meetings and full validation phases.
- Fully support UK seating programs while being based in Plzeň Czech Republic.
Your Qualifications:
- High school diploma or Bachelor.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office: Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Good interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
- Strong analytical approach; conceptual design capability is an advantage.
- Previous RMDV experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous automotive experience preferred.
