Job Title: Senior Developer (Full Stack Java) SAP SuccessFactors

Location: Devanahalli Campus Bangalore North

What youll build

At SAP SuccessFactors youll build scalable enterprise-grade Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions that power critical business processes across global this role you will:

Design and develop highly scalable full stack applications supporting areas like Workforce Planning Story Reports and People Analytics
Build robust backend services and APIs that handle large-scale enterprise data with high performance and reliability
Architect and implement multi-tenant cloud-native SaaS solutions
Optimize systems for performance scalability and resilience
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Contribute to engineering excellence through clean code design patterns and best practices
Your work will directly impact on how customers manage and analyze workforce data at scale.

What you bring

Core Engineering:

8 years of experience building enterprise applications using Java/J2EE
Strong expertise in Spring Boot Hibernate REST/OData APIs.
Deep understanding of object-oriented design design patterns and system architecture. Experience designing scalable and distributed systems

Backend & Data:

Strong experience with data modeling database design and performance tuning. Hands-on with SQL/relational databases and working with large datasets
Experience building high-performance APIs and backend services

Cloud & DevOps:

Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines Git Jenkins/TeamCity
Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems
Familiarity with monitoring logging and observability tools

Frontend (Good to have):

- Working knowledge of JavaScript HTML CSS or modern UI frameworks

Ways of Working:

Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Ability to lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Effective communication and collaboration across teams

Nice to have:

Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other HCM systems
Exposure to Workforce Planning Story Reports or People Analytics domains
Experience with large-scale enterprise SaaS platforms
Basic familiarity with integrating AI/ML services into applications (optional)
