Provides psychological assessment and treatment under training supervision supports clinical program development assists with teaching in a clinical setting and conducts research.
Essential Functions:
- Provides evidence-based psychological assessment diagnosis and treatment under supervision.
- Conducts individual and group therapy and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
- Conducts independent research under supervision analyzing data developing methodologies preparing publications and presenting findings at scientific conferences.
- Collaborates with other fellows clinical faculty and staff researchers and laboratory personnel to achieve clinical and research goals.
- Assists in the training and supervision of graduate students psychology interns other multi-disciplinary trainees and other laboratory personnel.
Education Requirement:
- Graduate of or currently enrolled in an accredited graduate school or international equivalent required.
- Eligible to obtain doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) required.
- Formally enrolled in the NCH Psychology Fellowship Training Program required.
Experience:
- Relevant experience and course of study in graduate school or a psychology pre-professional internship training program required.
- Application to NCH for participation in the Program required.
