Khyber Rock - HOMESCHOOL TUTOR and AU PAIR - FULL DAY
Area: Khyber Rock Woodmead
Ages: Daughter in Grade 7
Working hours: Monday Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
School holiday hours: Same hours during school holidays and availability to travel
Duties: Fill academic assistance in the morning. Facilitating the childs online curriculum assisting in any struggle areas ensuring the work is completed properly and on time. Afternoon hours would include extra murals taking to appointments taking on fun education and adventurous outings. Candidate needs to set up a plan of activities for the afternoons and holidays such as bounce hikes nature walks art classes museums educational outings and baking lessons etc. Travel with the family when they travel to continue with the daughters schooling and care.
Requirements: A female in their 20s. English or Bilingual (English and Afrikaans). Strong Experience as a tutor for the age group. Experience with the Cambridge curriculum. Someone who takes initiative is organised and reliable. Available to travel with the family someone who loves adventure and exploring and trying new things would fit in well with this family. They really are looking for someone to join their family.
Start date: ASAP Start date Permanent Contract
Online Curriculum: Accellus Academy
Salary: R17000 - R18000 per month (gross before deductions) SARS rates per km (R4.95) for any driving done directly for the family. Not to get to and from work. There is a car provided as well (automatic)
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
