Operations Supervisor

Job Summary
Reporting to the Regional Director and Site Director the Supervisor plans organizes directs controls and evaluates all site activities. The Supervisor ensures proper equipment operation and oversees maintenance. They act as the primary resource in enforcing health and safety regulations within their area of responsibility.
- Participate in operations for both ferrous and non-ferrous departments (unloading customers sorting and identifying metals weighing materials entering data into Recy operating machinery etc.);
- Manage guide and motivate the team;
- Ensure employees strictly follow all health and safety policies and procedures at all times;
- Manage PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and other equipment needs ensuring proper use maintenance and replacement when necessary;
- Follow up on administrative documentation related to production and maintenance;
- Provide administrative support to the Regional Director and Site Director (e.g. approving timesheets managing employee leave and vacation requests).
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years of team management experience;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial/production environment;
Skills Required
- Positive motivating and inspiring leadership;
- Strong communication skills;
- Functional English proficiency;
- Ability to set and manage priorities in a fast-paced high-pressure environment;
- Ability to make quick decisions;
- Basic computer skills.
Additional Information :
- Work schedule: Day shift and Saturdays (variable);
- Full-time permanent position.
