Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Specialist Thailand
Job Summary
Regulatory Affairs
- Monitor new and updated Thailand regulatory requirements scientific developments and industry trends.
- Communicate changes to internal stakeholders and adjust regulatory strategies accordingly.
Regulatory Compliance
- Prepare review and issue labelling specifications for local and export markets following company processes.
- Conduct label compliance reviews ensuring correct legal designations claims ingredient lists and nutrition data.
- Ensure proper implementation of graphic and techno-legal elements via CopyDeck and Syncforce.
- Provide compositional and regulatory guidance to R&D including acceptable ingredients and legal limits.
- Review and approve raw materials product specifications recipes allergens nutrition data and promotional materials to ensure compliance.
Regulatory Submissions
- Support Supply Chain and Quality teams in preparing documents for product registrations renewals variations and regulatory queries in line with Thailand requirements.
Training & Education
- Deliver training and educational materials to enhance regulatory understanding and strengthen compliance culture across the organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D Packaging D2P Quality & Food Safety Marketing Legal and the regional team to support compliance across multi-market projects and simplify ways of working.
Qualifications :
University Graduate in Food Chemistry Food Technology Food Science or equivalent.
Must have:
- At least 2 years experience in Regulatory Affairs within food industry of Thailand market preferably coffee & tea industry.
- Thorough understanding of Thais Regulatory Affairs requirements and processes related to food legislation.
- Considerable understanding of nutrition science and food safety
- Understanding of product development ingredients manufacturing and business processes.
- Good articulation and networking with Thailands Local Industry Associations Scientific Institutions and Government/Authority bodies

- System acumen and IT skills.
- Excellent communication in English and Thai with multilingual ability both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines (Project Management Skills).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
