Contractually based out of our Portsmouthoffice thisis afull-timepermanent position working 37 hours per weekwith a minimum of 20% of this to be office based to promote collaboration and team may be some occasional travelrequiredacross our Hampshire offices.

Heres the facts about the role:
As Energy and Sustainability Officer youll work closely with senior colleagues across the Energy and Sustainability team providing project data and delivery support across several key will include supporting the Retrofit Programme Manager by collecting and analysing data to identify and prioritise homes for inclusion within the retrofit programme undertaking energy investment modelling to determine appropriate energy efficiency and renewable measures helping to shape and oversee the customer engagement strategy and monitoring and reporting on programme progress and improvements in energy performance.
Youll maintain accurate project and programme trackers support and oversee delivery by resolving issues and risks and take clear notes and minutes where formal records are supporting the Sustainability Programme Manager youll collate monthly carbon reporting data contribute to the delivery of the Energy and Sustainability Strategy by working with the supply chain to identify and implement opportunities to capture and reduce Scope 3 emissions assist with biodiversity enhancement projects and EV chargepoint delivery plans and prepare grant funding applications for environmental improvements.
Youll also support the Energy Manager by analysing utilities cost consumption and carbon emissions across approximately 1500 landlord energy supplies and identifying opportunities to decarbonise existing heat networks and communal heating systems.
Were looking for a motivated and organised individual with a genuine interest in sustainability and energy management strong analytical thinking and a confident approach to working with data. Youll be comfortable using Microsoft IT systems with good excel skills and experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines. Youll have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is a requirement. Business mileage will be paid.
