Rate of Pay: 24.00 - 28.93 per hour
Summary:
An opportunity for an experienced Energy Manager to lead on energy strategy management and sustainability initiatives. The role focuses on delivering energy efficiency programmes managing utilities and supporting the Councils journey towards net zero.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Energy team and strategic work programmes
- Oversee utilities contracts budgets and energy usage across the estate
- Develop and implement energy efficiency and decarbonisation projects
- Manage climate strategy and support net zero targets
- Deliver renewable energy projects (e.g. solar battery storage)
- Oversee EV charging infrastructure programmes
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Energy Management or a related field
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in energy management sustainability or infrastructure projects
- Strong project management and contract management experience
- Knowledge of energy systems renewable energy and ISO50001
- Experience managing budgets and delivering large-scale programmes
- Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
