About The Department:
The Franklin Templeton Internal Audit group is an independent objective function that helps protect and enhance organizational value through riskbased assurance and advisory services. The team partners closely with business and technology leaders to assess emerging risks strengthen controls and support strategic initiatives across India and APAC. Internal Audit is futurefocused working on innovative areas such as digital assets artificial intelligenceenabled transformation and blockchainbased investment products. Joining the team offers exposure to complex global operations senior stakeholders and opportunities to shape audit practices in a rapidly evolving environment.
How You Will Add Value
You will lead riskbased audits across India and APAC.
You will execute audit plans aligned with regulatory and enterprise risks.
You will oversee complex audits and special projects endtoend.
You will provide clear impactful recommendations on risk and control issues.
You will challenge management constructively to improve decisionmaking.
You will coordinate cosource providers and internal audit resources.
You will collaborate with global audit teams for consistent delivery.
You will support department initiatives to enhance audit quality and innovation.
You will coach and mentor audit staff and senior auditors.
You will reinforce strong audit discipline and professional judgment.
You will identify and escalate performance or execution risks promptly.
What Will Help You Be Successful In This Role
Experience:
Eight to twelve or more years of audit experience including senior leadership roles.
Experience in asset management or financial services strongly preferred.
Experience managing or coordinating cosource audit providers.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting business information systems or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CIA CPA CFE or CA strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of risk controls and audit methodology.
Ability to assess business processes technology platforms and data environments.
Data analytics or visualization experience is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
Strong strategic thinking and professional judgment.
Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders.
Confidence providing credible challenge while building trust.
Selfstarter who drives work to completion with minimal oversight.
Ability to influence coach and develop others.
Work Shift Timings - 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM IST (Flexible to be work in shifts)
