The Opportunity
We are seeking a collaborative Junior Planning and Budgeting Analyst who has knowledge and experience in corporate forecasting and budgeting. The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders across the business to deliver monthly performance reporting forecast and budget support and variance insights.
What youll do
- Support the monthly forecasting cycle and recurring deliverables (forecast updates variance tracking management reporting)
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather inputs validate assumptions and clarify drivers supporting forecasts budgets and reporting
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets including maintaining assumptions and supporting documentation
- Monitor corporate performance through analysis of cost and revenue variances to plan helping identify drivers and trends
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using OneStream and Power BI to support internal decision-making
- Prepare analysis in a clear visual format and contribute to materials for leadership review
- Contribute to improvements and automation in reporting/analysis workflows where possible
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years experience in FP&A budgeting/forecasting finance analytics or similar
- Degree in Commerce Accounting Finance or related discipline
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines
- Strong communication documentation analytical and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in OneStream
- Experience with Power BI (dashboarding recurring reporting).
- Experience with D365
- Prior experience in midstream / pipeline / energy infrastructure environments
