At CGI we are currently hiring Technical writer profile with a high level of English to work on an international project.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in systems engineering software engineering or related fields.
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
- 7 years of experience as a Technical Writer or Documentation Specialist in an enterprise IT environment.
- Proven experience creating governance operational and process documentation for technology or operations teams.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear concise and business appropriate documentation.
- Experience working directly with IT SMEs architects engineers and operations leaders.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) platform governance or operational frameworks.
- Excellent written communication organization and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and standardize technology governance documentation including operating models standards policies procedures and decision frameworks for Tech Ops and related IT teams.
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) across Infrastructure Service Desk Security Engineering and Platform teams to capture and document current state and target state processes in a consistent reusable format.
- Create and maintain operational documentation such as runbooks handover/turnover documents knowledge acquisition and knowledge transfer (KA/KT) materials and onboarding guides.
- Ensure governance documentation aligns with Ryders ITSM platform governance and compliance expectations including review cycles and version control.
- Collaborate with program and delivery teams to document governance structures for new initiatives platform implementations and operational transitions.
- Manage documentation repositories (e.g. SharePoint or similar platforms) ensuring content is accessible current and clearly organized.

- Brings a governance first mindset with the ability to impose structure clarity and consistency across diverse technical teams.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid operational environment balancing strategic governance documentation with hands on operational artifacts.
- Experienced supporting large complex organizations where documentation must scale across platforms vendors and internal teams.
- Understands the importance of documentation as a foundational enabler for operational maturity audit readiness and long term efficiency.
Additional Skills:
- Proactive detail oriented and able to independently drive documentation efforts while aligning with clients enterprise standards and culture.
