Role Purpose:
Why this role matters: As a People Operations & Payroll Senior Specialist you play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy compliance and efficiency of payroll and core HR operations across Colombia and Mexico. This role solves the challenge of maintaining seamless people processes in multicountry environments while minimizing legal and operational risk. Your work directly supports the People & Culture team and enhances the overall employee experience enabling the organization to operate efficiently and scale sustainably.
What success looks like:
Successfully lead endtoend payroll execution for Colombia and provide reliable payroll support for Mexico ensuring full compliance with local labor laws.
Standardize and improve HR operational processes contributing to consistent and efficient People Operations across both markets.
Strengthen data accuracy and documentation quality in HR systems and digital employee files reducing errors and compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Lead payroll processing for Colombia and support payrollrelated activities for Mexico ensuring accuracy compliance and proper documentation.
Manage employee contract administration including new hires employment changes disciplinary actions and terminations in line with internal policies and local labor laws.
Drive HR operational excellence by executing maintaining and improving core HR processes and systems across both countries.
Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely compensation and benefits administration.
Ensure full compliance with legal regulatory and internal HR requirements supporting labor legal processes and minimizing operational risk.
Maintain fully digitalized employee records and HR systems ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Prepare HR operational reports and metrics to support management decisionmaking.
Qualifications & Attributes
Were seeking someone who embodies the following:
Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
Experience:
5 years of experience in People Operations HR Operations Payroll or a closely related role.
Proven handson experience managing payroll and HR processes in regulated environments (Colombia).
Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of payroll processing and employment laws (preferably Colombia; Mexico is a plus).
o Experience working with SAP SuccessFactors including:
o Employee Central (EC)
o Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
o High attention to detail and accuracy in managing HR data and documentation.
o Advanced skills in HR administration reporting and record management.
o English proficiency at B2 level
