The Opportunity:
KBR is seeking a National Fleet Manager to support fleet logistics and supply chain activities within the Land Manoeuvre Systems Branch (LMSB). This role contributes to the effective coordination analysis and reporting of fleet and logistics operations ensuring asset availability inventory control and delivery outcomes are achieved in line with Defence and organisational requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse develop and implement logistics plans that impact the production distribution and inventory of finished products to optimise material and asset flow.
- Conduct distribution and network analysis monitor inventory levels and assess requirements to develop strategies that achieve target delivery timeframes and order fulfilment rates.
- Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational alignment.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on logistics and fleet activities.
- Provide activity updates and status reports to management.
- Perform additional duties as required to support operational objectives.
About You:
The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related lieu of a formal degree a minimum of 10 years progressive experience in a related field is acceptable. Alternatively four (4) years of specialised military experience in a relevant field may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management.
- Previous experience working within a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case/contract.
- Strong computing skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel MS Project and database maintenance and reporting.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills (essential).
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
