Job Description:
The designer will work with programs at all phases of the product lifecycle to develop and document designs from conceptual representation through final designer will be responsible formaintainingthe integrity of theproduct data through PLM and CAD tools within theappropriate processesandcontrols andwillbe responsible forenacting changes with direction from program and other engineeringfunctions.
Essential Functions:
- Developandmaintainsolid models aligned with L3Harris processes
- Responsible for improvements across processes systems and products.
- Developdocumentation(drawings etc.) as part of a products data
- Implement changes to a products data based on guidance from the program team
- Assistprogram teams in major milestonesreviews
- Assistprograms in task development
- Assist inthe development of proposals
- Manage large and complex CAD models and their corresponding data
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (Preferably in design technology or CAD) and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Experience using PTC CREO
- Experience using Oracle Agile PLM or PTC Windchill
- Experience using GD&T
- Experience working within Aerospace design environments
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Active U.S. Security Clearance highly preferred
- Knowledge of project management preferred
- Familiarity with MRP MRPII and/or ERP systems and processes
- Experience managing large product configurations and their corresponding data
- Experience using configuration management and product data management processes
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes both additive and subtractive
