Accounting Clerks (AP / AR / General Accounting)

About Our Client
With a steady pipeline of upcoming projects and coverage needs our clients are seeking experienced accounting professionals to step into a variety of temporary roles in accounts payable accounts receivable and general accounting. These opportunities offer a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your contributions will have an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process high-volume invoices ensuring accuracy and timely payment cycles.
- Manage collections reconcile accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
General Accounting Support
- Perform account reconciliations journal entries and assist with month-end processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting operations.
Data Entry & Administration
- Enter financial data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure proper documentation filing and organization of accounting records.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with internal teams vendors and clients to resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal interactions.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable or general accounting.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting Finance or a related field is considered an asset.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Competencies:
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and environments.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective time management with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
