Job Summary
As the Junior Accounting Analyst at Honeycomb you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability of financial data within the organization. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure that processes are followed and adhered to. You will serve as a technical resource within the team and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting practices.
What youre responsible for:
- Enter financial data: sales purchases expenses and other routine transactions.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account monitoring.
- Reconcile and manage corporate credit cards.
- Prepare client invoicing follow up on payments and issue reminders as needed.
- Monitor accounts payable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Prepare GST/QST returns and other tax obligations.
- Manage payroll and group insurance entries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with other finance team members to ensure accurate and high-quality data.
- Participate in improving accounting processes and implementing internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications :

- You have a bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field.
- You have 2 years of accounting experience.
- You have knowledge of the entire accounting cycle.
- You have a commitment to excellence autonomy and initiative.
- You have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- You have the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- You have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- You are bilingual in French and English.
