Shift Details:

- Schedule Options:
- 5x8-Hour shifts
- OR combination of 2x12-Hour 2x8-Hour shifts
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient-centered care in a psychiatric setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and communication skills and be comfortable working in a collaborative team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Conduct and document nursing assessments
- Maintain accurate shift weekly and monthly patient notes
- Support therapeutic milieu and patient engagement
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including Mental Health Therapy Aides
- Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned
- Ensure adherence to safety clinical and behavioral health protocols
Patient Care Environment:
- Behavioral health unit with collaborative team-based care
- Nurses may be responsible for medication administration for up to 25 patients
- Focus on maintaining a structured and therapeutic environment
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
- Prior psychiatric / behavioral health experience required
- Strong documentation and assessment skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based care model
