Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Nursing Supervisor (Hospice)
Location: East Sandwich MA
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Schedule: 37.5 Hours/Week Monday Friday
Shift: Day/Evening Shift (3:00 PM 11:00 PM) No Weekends
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Supervisor (RN) to oversee hospice care operations in a home health setting. This role is responsible for providing clinical leadership ensuring high-quality patient care and supporting interdisciplinary teams in delivering end-of-life care with dignity and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff in hospice and home health settings
- Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure continuity of patient care
- Ensure compliance with hospice regulations policies and quality standards
- Coordinate care plans with physicians case managers and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide guidance and clinical support for complex patient cases
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered care environment
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required (Masters preferred)
- Minimum 24 years of supervisory experience in hospice home health or related setting
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage clinical teams and hospice program operations effectively
