As Manager Pre-Owned Remarketing & Fleet Operations you will be responsible for developing managing and continuously optimizing Polestars Pre-Owned Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) remarketing and fleet vehicle operations in Canada. You will oversee day-to-day operations for company fleet vehicles commercial and corporate fleet sales off-lease returns and rental vehicles while defining processes pricing strategies and performance management to support Polestar Canadas growth ambitions. This role plays a critical part in maximizing vehicle value across the full vehicle lifecycle driving operational excellence and delivering a premium experience for our Polestar Space partners and fleet customers across the Canadian market. You will work collaboratively with internal teams Polestar retailers auction partners and external partners to ensure efficient execution and a best-in-class customer and dealer experience.
What youll do
Manage and oversee the end-to-end remarketing of company-owned vehicles fleet vehicles off-lease returns and rental vehicles.
Support corporate and commercial fleet sales programs including lifecycle planning policies and pricing strategy identifying new revenue and partnership opportunities
Develop and continuously enhance Pre-Owned and Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) programs.
Support with setting and adjusting of vehicle pricing based on Canadian market trends macroeconomics and KPIs.
Craft and develop customer-facing CPO and fleet offers that optimize volume and margin.
Manage inventory for retail wholesale and fleet allocation overseeing all inspections auctions logistics and title transfer processes.
Own and maintain vendor auction house logistics and fleet partner relationships.
Monitor KPIs and provide insights to leadership on pre-owned and fleet program performance making recommendations and enhancements as needed
Collaborate with sales financial services and Polestar retailers to deliver win-win pre-owned and fleet deals and initiatives.
Perform ad hoc analysis on portfolio performance and residual value benchmarking.
Seek to deliver continuous improvement to operational processes that translate into scalable solutions that align with business goals.
Provide operational support to Polestar Spaces fleet partners and marketing initiatives as needed.
Who you are
Bachelors degree in business administration or related field required.
5 years of experience in automotive managing pre-owned programs fleet remarketing or related position managing residual value setting.
Previous automotive OEM experience required.
Deep technical understanding of residual value mechanics (ALG CBB etc.)
Excellent data and analytical literacy in large amounts of data and developing pricing models.
Demonstrated experience driving pre-owned remarketing wholesale or OEM fleet operations.
Strong understanding of fleet sales models and vehicle lifecycle management.
Familiarity with Canadian automotive digital platforms.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
French language proficiency is an asset.
