Summary:

Apply broad engineering and design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues throughout the lifecycle.
Lead research and develop interim and final technical solutions for complex technical operational and quality issues.
Guide teams in root cause analysis and develop resolutions for design non-conformances.
Develop and implement product/process improvements using innovative approaches.
Analyze reported problems for potential safety issues and manage complex resolution efforts.
Provide design-phase subject matter expertise in design reviews and cross-functional teams.
Represent engineering throughout the production and post-production lifecycle.
Ensure supplier and partner compliance with technical and quality standards.
Develop customer correspondence for safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
Lead on-site repair teams and accident investigation/support activities.
Design jacking and shoring schemes interim structural repairs and conduct static strength analysis.
Develop and lead non-destructive testing procedures tools and standards.
Develop and implement technical training curriculum for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
Effective communicator decisive and resourceful.
Ability to work independently and guide others.
Willingness to support off-shift weekend or overtime work as required.
Experience with structural systems interiors operational issues and product delivery support.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in delivery or operational support roles.
Experience with issue resolution processes and functional testing.
Skilled in technical discussions and customer communication.
Familiarity with change management processes and prior CI&R experience.
