JOB TITLE: Software Engineer Developer 4
LOCATION: Chantilly VA
PAY RATE: $76.50/hour

Security Clearance: Active Top-Secret U.S. Clearance with SCI eligibility; CI Polygraph required post-start

Summary:

Lead software development tasks including design coding unit/integration/functional/system testing and achieving acceptance criteria.
Translate system requirements into software requirements and models with clear traceability.
Conduct system-level analyses to identify risks issues and opportunities; lead integration of mitigation actions.
Lead code reviews to ensure alignment with requirements and standards.
Monitor and review testing verification and issue resolution for software systems.
Track and evaluate internal team and supplier performance for alignment with project plans and industry standards.

Requirements:

Active Top-Secret U.S. Clearance with SCI eligibility; CI Polygraph required post-start
5 years of experience in Computer Science fundamentals object-oriented design and software patterns.
Experience in Java C or Python in full-stack software projects.
Experience leading software development projects and/or teams.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Data Science Physics Mathematics Chemistry or related technical field.
Experience with HTML CSS JavaScript (REACT Open Layers) Spring Framework Hibernate RDBMS NoSQL REST/Open API.
Familiarity with Agile/SAFe practices TDD DevSecOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI).
Experience with middleware technologies (JMS WebLogic) and automation/dependency management tools (Ivy Maven Gradle Git).
Experience with RDBMS (SQL Server Oracle MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
Experience writing/executing unit integration and system test cases.
Experience in systems engineering or software development for space-based or ground-based systems.
