Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Electronic Fabrication Specialist - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Grand Prairie TX
PAY RATE: $51.39/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Fabricate circuit cards sub-assemblies and wiring harnesses including component soldering connector pinning/de-pinning and applying mounting hardware.
Build single- or multi-bay cabinet assemblies for delivery to Engineering or Manufacturing Production areas.
Work collaboratively with Engineers Fabricators Draftsmen Procurement and Quality Inspectors in a team environment.

Requirements:

Active Secret clearance at time of submittal.
3 years of experience in fabrication (e.g. cable/wire harness SMT board fabrication or military design products).
Prior certification in soldering and harness fabrication per MIL-STD requirements.
Experience fabricating electrical equipment from blueprints schematics and engineering guides.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to report issues to management/engineers.
Proficiency with software tools and Microsoft products.
Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
Full-time (40 hours/week) with occasional overtime.
Safety shoes required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

Solder certification to J-STD-001 IPC-7711/IPC-7721.
Experience in procurement and acquisition of test materials.
Experience interpreting and building test equipment engineering documentation.
