Lodge Manager Luxury Safari Tours Company Botswana

Salary: Negotiable DOE Live-in Position

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly professional Lodge Manager for a luxury safari tours company based in Botswana. This is a senior leadership role ideal for a hospitality professional with extensive experience managing high-end safari lodges delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading multi-department teams in a five-star environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the lodge ensuring that all aspects of the guest experience meet and exceed luxury standards while supporting staff development and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the lodge ensuring smooth functioning across all departments

Enhance and innovate guest experiences while maintaining the lodges unique character and brand standards

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and repeat guests

Ensure all lodge tasks and action lists are completed within budget

Support Heads of Departments to achieve and exceed guest satisfaction scores

Identify training needs across all departments implement training plans and evaluate staff performance

Promote a culture of guest care and personalised guest interaction throughout the lodge

Manage guest delight activities in coordination with management butlers guides housekeepers and other staff

Assist with monthly planning including staffing training and guest requirements

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years experience managing a five-star lodge or similar high-end hospitality operation

Previous experience in the service industry with a strong focus on guest interaction and team management

Qualification in Hospitality or Business Management

Excellent command of the English language

Outgoing warm and professional personality confident around affluent guests

Well-presented honest diligent and self-motivated

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong leadership organisational and problem-solving skills
