Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of Manager (Monitoring Evaluation and Learning) include:

Regular generating dashboard for operation team in order to track achievement to prepare mitigation plan in ahead.

Review and revise existing MEL system framework tools and indicators related to Sun Community Health network for standardization and simplification and prepare quarterly donor/National Programs reporting in correct complete and timely manners.

Attend internal and external meetings related to MEL and surveillance.

Develop Routine Data Quality Assurance real-time case reporting and case investigation mechanisms/tools and train operation team on effective use of them.

Develop/ revise SOPs/manuals/field guides/checklists as needed to ensure documented best practices related to MEL.

Train and support Sun Community Health team members in analyzing data using dashboard.

Respond rapidly to questions/ issues raised by field team related to the roll out troubleshoot minor issues/tech challenges compile list of field challenges for any digital platform or MEL related support.

Assist target setting by respective territories keep tracking on dashboard for SAOP donor and internal monitoring indicators by regularly analyzing the data and inform Sun Community Health management team to take necessary action.

Assist Sun Community Health Senior management team for development of performance based incentive for employees and community providers (as the budget allows).

Participate/assist in program design/strategy and proposal development as MEL lead of Sun Community Health.

Lead the development and implementation of learning agenda to support evidence-based program improvement.

Facilitate regular learning and reflection sessions with relevant teams to promote adaptive management.

Develop and disseminate learning products to strengthen internal knowledge sharing and external engagement.

Key Skills: The key skills required for Manager (Monitoring Evaluation and Learning) position:

Leadership: Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to guide others.

MEL Skills: Understand health programs and indicators and thorough knowledge of developing MEL systems mechanisms and tools.

e-Health Skills: Understand data management and analysis using digital platforms gadgets & apps.

Organizational Skills: Must be highly organized and be able to manage many processes and activities simultaneously.

Critical Thinking: Must be able to critically analyze business problems and offer innovative solutions to these


Qualifications :

Strong leadership management and analytical skills.

Medical degree with public health experience (Having a Master of Public Health degree is an asset.)

At least 3 to 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation role and thorough knowledge of developing MEL systems mechanisms and tools.

Fluent in both spoken and written English. Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/ statistical methods.

Good knowledge of MS office and databases.
