Job Summary
What You Get To Do:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for providing direct support hands-on instruction assistance and positive direction to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD)in a manner that ensures their health safety successful achievement of service objectives and personal goals.

- Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.
- Assist with activities of daily living including dressing bathing grooming toileting and eating.
- Complete medication administration and follow medical protocols.
- Prepare meals and snacks.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance which may include using mechanical lift devices.
- Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviors when needed.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

- 18 years or older
- A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process
- Good communication is key in this role. Youll rely on your reading writing and communication skills to document care follow support plans and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
