Manager - Community Affairs
Pennsylvania Regulatory & External Affairs
The Manager Community Affairs will lead community engagement efforts across Pennsylvania supporting Talen Energys commitment to strong local partnerships and positive stakeholder relationships. This role will serve as a key liaison between company operations government affairs and external communications and the communities where Talen currently operates or is looking to develop a presence. The individual will develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders and organizations create opportunities to promote Talen and raise its visibility in the community and foster a positive strong reputation for Talen.

Develop and execute community engagement strategies aligned with business objectives
Build relationships with local leaders community organizations workforce partners and stakeholders
Coordinate community investment initiatives sponsorships and events
Support plant leadership with local outreach and stakeholder communications
Represent the company at community meetings public events and forums
Monitor local issues and sentiment that may impact company operations or reputation
Partner with government affairs and communications teams to align messaging and engagement
Support economic development and workforce initiatives in local markets
What You Have
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
5 years of experience in community relations public affairs communications or stakeholder engagement
Experience working with local governments or community organizations
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
Experience in energy industrial or regulated environments preferred
