Relevant au Responsable des Lignes Financières dAIG Canada le Responsable des Lignes Financières pour lEst du Canada dirigera notre équipe dédiée à cette activité dans cette région. Il aura pour mission didentifier délaborer et de mettre en œuvre des stratégies visant à développer notre portefeuille de manière rentable garantissant ainsi le maintien de notre position de leader sur le marché. Il sera également chargé de développer et dentretenir des relations clés avec les courtiers les clients et les partenaires.
Comment vous créerez un impact
- Gestion déquipe : diriger une équipe de souscription basée à Montréal afin de stimuler une croissance rentable dans lEst du Canada.
- Promouvoir une culture déquipe axée sur la collaboration linclusion et lapprentissage.
- Encadrer et former le personnel grâce à un leadership efficace à lexemplarité et à des programmes de formation.
- Présence sur le marché : développer consolider et gérer les relations avec les courtiers et les clients et générer de nouvelles affaires en collaborant avec notre réseau de courtiers pour identifier de nouvelles opportunités.
- Collaborer avec les responsables des assurances de risques financiers et leurs équipes de souscription la distribution et les autres collègues afin dobtenir des résultats positifs en matière de renouvellements et de nouvelles affaires et créer soutenir et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de croissance rentable.
- Veiller au respect de toutes les directives processus et ententes de niveau de service en matière de souscription et sassurer que les dossiers sont tenus à jour exacts et complets.
- Fournir des renseignements précis et opportuns à la haute direction et contribuer au processus de budgétisation et de prévision sur une base mensuelle trimestrielle et annuelle.
- Les responsabilités couvriront plusieurs secteurs dactivité tels que : la responsabilité des administrateurs et dirigeants la responsabilité en matière de pratiques demploi la responsabilité fiduciaire la criminalité/la malhonnêteté la cybercriminalité les erreurs et omissions ainsi que les enlèvements les rançons et lextorsion.
Ce quil vous faut pour réussir
- Une maîtrise de langlais tant à loral quà lécrit est requise afin de faciliter la communication avec les parties prenantes internes et externes situées à lextérieur du Québec
- Expérience avérée en souscription ou en courtage dans le domaine des lignes financières.
- Expérience en gestion déquipe assortie dune solide aptitude à diriger et à encadrer une équipe de souscripteurs.
- Excellentes compétences en communication tant à loral quà lécrit.
- Flexibilité et capacité à sadapter à des environnements de travail en évolution rapide.
- Capacité avérée à transmettre des messages difficiles tout en favorisant des résultats positifs.
- Personne organisée hautement motivée et faisant preuve dinitiative ; capable dassumer la responsabilité de ses propres performances et de faire preuve de leadership dans son approche du travail de la formation et de lacquisition de connaissances.
- Capacité avérée à travailler en équipe à exercer une influence positive sur les autres et à leur apporter son soutien au besoin.
- Compréhension générale et sensibilité aux comportements humains à leur complexité et à la manière de les gérer.
- La détention dun titre professionnel (CFA CIP FCIP ou CRM) est considérée comme un atout.

Make your mark in Financial Lines
Reporting to the Head of Financial Lines of AIG Canada the Head of Eastern Canada Financial Lines will lead our Financial Lines team in Eastern Canada. They will be responsible for identifying developing and implementing strategies to profitably grow our portfolio ensuring we continue to be market leaders. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining key broker client and partner relationships.
How you will create an impact
- People Management: lead a Montreal-based underwriting team to drive profitable growth in Eastern Canada.
- Promote a team culture of collaboration inclusivity and learning.
- Mentor and train staff through effective leadership role modelling and training programs.
- Market Presence: build solidify and lead broker and client engagements and produce new business by working with our broker network to source new opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Financial Lines business leaders and their underwriting teams Distribution and other colleagues to achieve positive outcomes on both renewals and new business and create support and execute strategies for profitable growth.
- Ensuring all underwriting guidelines processes and service level agreements are adhered to and files are maintained accurate and complete.
- Produce accurate and timely information for senior management assisting in the budgeting/forecasting process on a monthly quarterly and annual basis.
- Responsibility will include multiple lines of business such as: Directors and Officers Liability Employment Practices Liability Fiduciary Liability Crime/Fidelity Cyber Errors & Omissions and Kidnap Ransom & Extortion.
What youll need to succeed
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is required to facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec.
- Proven Financial Lines underwriting or broking experience.
- People management experience with strong ability to lead and manage a team of underwriters.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments.
- Proven ability to deliver difficult messages whilst influencing positive outcomes.
- Organized highly motivated self-starter who takes responsibility for own performance and demonstrates leadership in their approach to work training and knowledge seeking.
- Proven ability to work within a team framework to provide a positive influence on others and to support others as required.
- General understanding and awareness of peoples behaviors their complexities and how to deal with them.
- CFA/CIP/FCIP/CRM designation is considered an asset.
