Job Summary:	The Department of Anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/per diem General Anesthesiologist. The successful candidate will: Administer anesthesia to all patients through anesthetic techniques (general regional & sedation) in general operating room ambulatory setting and obstetrical suite. Participate in clinical operating room supervision for residents and medical students as required by the department. Mentor residents and medical students in the operating room. Perform on-call assignments as required by the department to include clinical service in general operating room OB and ambulatory coverage. Perform call commitment as needed and/or required.
Required Qualifications:	New York State Medical Licensure. Medical Doctor Degree. Successful completion of training in an ACGME-accredited residency. Board Certification or eligible. Sub-specialty if applicable.

Salary Range:	Commensurate with experience and qualifications
