As VP Sales DACH at Via you will play a defining role in how cities and regions across Germany Austria and Switzerland rethink and deliver public transport. Youll own the regional commercial strategy lead complex end-to-end sales cycles and build lasting partnerships with transport authorities municipalities operators and public and private-sector doing so youll help communities move more efficiently sustainably and equitably while delivering on ambitious revenue goals and strengthening Vias position as a trusted partner across the DACH mobility ecosystem.
What Youll Do
- Define and lead Vias commercial vision and long-term growth strategy across Germany Austria and Switzerland
- Own regional revenue performance and market expansion overseeing complex multi-stakeholder enterprise engagements from early market development through close.
- Build and steward executive-level relationships with transport authorities municipalities operators and government stakeholders positioning Via as a trusted strategic partner.
- Shape how Vias full platform including Citymapper and Remixis deployed across the DACH region to address evolving mobility needs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional commercial organization fostering collaboration accountability and inclusive leadership.
- Partner closely with global Product Marketing Finance and Expansion teams to align regional priorities with company strategy.
- Represent Via as an executive voice within the DACH mobility ecosystem contributing to industry dialogue and strengthening long-term strategic positioning.
Who You Are
- 15 years of experience closing complex consultative enterprise deals in sales business development strategy or related roles ideally within government infrastructure enterprise SaaS or tech-enabled services.
- A track record of winning multi-stakeholder agreements where outcomes are driven by trust credibility and long-term relationship-building.
- Strong analytical and storytelling skills you translate policy funding frameworks and operational needs into clear compelling commercial narratives.
- A collaborative leader with sound commercial judgment you know when to advocate firmly when to listen closely and when to adapt your approach.
- Motivated by ownership and impact; youre energized by the opportunity to shape a market and see long-term initiatives through.
- Fluent in English; native-level German required
- Experience in transportation mobility or public-sector sales is a strong plus but not a requirement.
- Willingness to travel across the DACH region (approximately 2550%).
