Job Summary
Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Janesville WI
Duration: 13 weeks (Contract)
Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM 4:00 PM MondayFriday)
Position Summary
A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to support oncology services. The ideal candidate will have recent experience with radiation therapy systems and strong clinical and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiation therapy procedures including patient setup simulation and treatment delivery
- Deliver external beam radiation treatments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records
- Monitor patient condition and respond to needs during treatment
- Perform treatment calculations and assist in planning
- Fabricate treatment blocks as required
- Follow all radiation safety and compliance protocols
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
- Ensure proper patient identification and safety procedures
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
- ARRT certification (Radiation Therapy) required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Recent experience with radiation therapy systems (e.g. Elekta or Mosaiq) required
