Core Responsibilities
Pedagogical Excellence: Planning and delivering high-impact knowledge-rich lessons across KS3 & KS4 with potential opportunities to teach A-Level English (Literature or Language).
Literary Analysis: Developing students ability to deconstruct complex texts fostering deep engagement with poetry 19th-century prose and modern drama.
Writing Proficiency: Cultivating a high standard of functional and creative writing focusing on structural accuracy sophisticated vocabulary and rhetorical devices.
Curriculum Innovation: Integrating diverse and inclusive texts into the schemes of work ensuring the curriculum reflects a wide range of cultures identities and historical perspectives.
Exam Mastery: Guiding GCSE cohorts through the AQA or Eduqas specifications utilising live modelling and forensic feedback to secure outstanding progress.
